Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 2, 2026

This policy explains what the FV2 Gym app sends off your device, why it is used, who processes it, and the choices available to you.

Who operates the app

FV2 Gym (French Village 2) operates this app for its members and staff. Questions about this policy or a privacy request can be sent to info@fv2fitness.com.

Information we collect

The information collected depends on the features you use and the information you choose to provide.

  • Account and membership information, including name, email address, authentication provider, account identifier, role, and membership dates or status.
  • Profile, health, and fitness information, including age or birth year, sex, height, weight, target weight, fitness goals, training experience, activity level, schedule, injuries or conditions, dietary preference, and calorie or protein targets.
  • App activity, including workout and meal logs, water totals, weight history, favorites, active days, assigned programs, notification preferences, and announcements read.
  • Communications and user content, including AI Coach conversations, messages with a human coach, and support tickets.
  • Gym transaction information, including wallet balance, wallet entries, and purchase history for physical goods sold by the gym. The app does not collect payment-card or bank-account numbers.
  • Technical diagnostics, including an account identifier, app and operating-system version, device platform, crash information, error messages, and stack traces. Screenshots, screen recordings, and session replay are disabled.

How information is used

We use this information to authenticate accounts, provide and synchronize app features, personalize workouts and nutrition targets, connect members with gym staff, operate the gym wallet and physical-goods records, answer support requests, secure the service, and diagnose reliability problems.

We do not sell personal information, use it for third-party advertising, or use it to track you across apps or websites owned by other companies.

AI Coach and Google Gemini

Before the first AI Coach request, the app asks for separate permission. If you agree, the text you submit, earlier messages in that AI conversation, and available profile context are sent through an authenticated FV2 Supabase Edge Function to Google Gemini so it can generate a personalized reply.

Profile context can include your name, age, sex, height, weight, target weight, goals, training experience and schedule, injuries or conditions, dietary preference, and calorie or protein targets. It is not sent to Gemini until you grant AI consent. You can withdraw that consent in Settings; withdrawal prevents new AI requests but does not undo processing that already occurred.

Google handles the request as FV2’s AI service provider under the terms and controls applicable to the configured Gemini API account. Do not put information in an AI message that you do not want processed for this purpose.

Storage and service providers

Some data is kept on your device. Account-linked app data is also stored in FV2’s Supabase project so it can synchronize across devices and be available to authorized gym staff where the feature requires it.

  • Supabase provides authentication, database storage, real-time messaging, synchronization, and the server function used to reach Gemini.
  • Google and Apple provide optional account sign-in. Google also provides the Gemini service when you explicitly enable AI Coach processing.
  • Sentry receives redacted crash and diagnostic events when monitoring is enabled. FV2 disables default personal information, screenshots, view hierarchy capture, session replay, and performance tracing in its Sentry configuration.
  • Content-delivery services may receive ordinary network information when the app downloads exercise images or catalog data.

Sharing and access

Information is shared only with the service providers described above and with authorized FV2 staff when needed to operate memberships, coaching, support, wallet records, and app reliability. Access is controlled by Supabase authentication, row-level security, and security-definer database functions.

Retention and deletion

Account-linked records are kept while the account is active and for as long as needed to provide the requested gym service. A member can delete their account from Profile → Settings → Delete account. The deletion process removes the authentication account and account-linked database records and clears that account’s data from the device.

FV2 database diagnostic reports linked to the member are deleted with the account. Copies already processed by service providers, including Sentry diagnostic events and provider backups or security logs, may remain for the retention period configured with that provider or where retention is required for legal, fraud-prevention, accounting, or security obligations. Staff-owned work accounts are managed by the gym owner; a staff user can request removal at the contact address below.

Your choices

You can update profile information in the app, delete individual AI conversations from AI Coach history, withdraw AI consent in Settings, delete a member account in Settings, or contact info@fv2fitness.com to request access, correction, deletion, or help with a staff-owned account.
